An Apple for Miss Shorter

Thank you to everyone who got behind Miss Shorter in Wave FM's Apple for the Teacher promotion.  Laura received so many votes that she won third prize in the competition. Some students voted many hundreds of times, demonstrating the high level of esteem in which she's held. Congratulations to everyone who voted because 5/6S now has a brand new MacBook Pro.

The competition invited people across the Illawarra to vote for a teacher who they thought was worthy of recognition. We're all extremely proud that a Mt Ousley teacher was acknowledged in this way.

The attached audio files are clips from Wave FM broadcasts and include interviews conducted at the school when Wave FM staff visited to award the MacBook.
