Busy Busy!

It seems as though it was just yesterday that we were getting to know one another at the beginning of the year in 5/6. And here we are with the end of term four in sight!
Next week will be the final week that homework will be given. Well done to most people who completed their homework without fail every week throughout the year. Thank you for your efforts.

We're Back!

I hope everyone had a relaxing holiday. We’ve had a lovely start to term 4, with a new student joining our class, and a pre-service teacher working with us too.  Welcome to Miss Yong, who is from Canada, and Tu, who is originally from New Zealand.
Our dance program (Footsteps) begins this week, so if you haven’t read all about it, please do so. You’ll find information in last week’s newsletter. Please send in notes and money before Thursday if possible. It promises to be a lot of fun!

The Excitement Continues!

Stage 3 appreciated the beautiful weather during the trip to Canberra last week, with fresh mornings to get us moving quickly and warm days to make our visit even more enjoyable! We explored Questacon; The War Memorial; Deep Space Centre; Government House; Old and ‘new’ Parliament House and finally the National Museum. How exciting it was to see and hear our politicians in person and up close. We’ll have interesting presentations to share with you shortly. Stay tuned!

Excitement Plus!

We've had an exciting start to Term 3.

The past few weeks have seen us counting down the sleeps for our major excursion to Canberra. What a wonderful time we’re going to have, with so many interesting places to visit - especially Question Time at Parliament House. 2 sleeps to go! We’ll have lots to share with you on our return, and photographs as well.

Musica Viva was incredible. The performers are always such a talented group of people, and it was certainly a worthwhile experience.  All the children want to learn to play the drums now. Sorry parents!
